Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Site Engineer (Electrical Substation) to supervise electrical installation activities for a 380kV substation project. You will ensure compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, quality and safety requirements, and project schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of five years' experience in EHV/HV substations, preferably 380kV, with strong knowledge of substation construction, installation, testing, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHV/HV Substation Projects (preferably 380kV).
• Experience with SEC standards and project specifications.
• SEC/Client-approved candidates preferred.
• Immediate joiner and iqama transfer candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of GIS equipment, power transformers, switchgear, control & protection systems.
• Ensure construction activities comply with SEC specifications, approved IFC drawings, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, testing, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare site reports, inspections, and work completion records.
• Support testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities.
