Job summary

NOMAC is seeking a Shift Charge Engineer to oversee operational activities during the shift at Al Madinnah Al Manwarah, Sidra. You will monitor plant performance, provide technical support, and ensure safety, efficiency and achievement of shift production targets.

Reporting to the Operation Manager, you will lead a team, coordinate with maintenance, QA and planning, review SOPs, manage SAP processes, and respond to disturbances to maintain reliable plant operations in a demanding desalination

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
8 years’ experience in water desalination and power plants with 2 years supervisory.
Knowledge of plant equipment; SAP working knowledge preferred.
IMS system awareness and project management experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor plant performance and provide operations engineering support during the shift.
Oversee day-to-day shift activities and ensure safe, efficient execution.
Review work instructions, SOPs, processes; recommend improvements to Operations Manager.
Coordinate with departments to ensure timely execution of plant operations.
Manage emergencies during the shift per the company plan and maintain safety.
