Job summary

Alfa Laval in Yanbu is seeking a Service Centre Operator to execute workshop tasks with quality and pace. You will perform hands-on reconditioning of heat exchangers, from disassembly to pressure testing, while adhering to safety and PPE requirements.

You should be a self-motivated team player with a Diploma in mechanical engineering, fluent in English, and able to troubleshoot in a cross-cultural environment. Saudi nationals are preferred, and willingness to work extended hours is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma/associate degree in mechanical engineering.
• Welding basic competence is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Saudi National preferred.
• Self-starter with good safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on heat exchanger reconditioning: disassembly, cleaning, dye penetrant inspection, gluing of gaskets, assembly, and pressure testing.
• Wear full PPE as required by the work.
• Report technical findings from inspections and establish reports.
• Coordinate with Team Leader and address concerns before proceeding.
• Use proper tools, equipment and procedures to perform the work.
• Follow reconditioning/repair procedures and maintain safety culture.
• Maintain day-to-day housekeeping and tool care.
• Attend training courses as part of the Personnel Development program.
• Be willing to work extended hours to fulfill customer requirements.

We are now looking for passionate Service centre Operator who would be directly responsible for our workshop job execution with quality and pace. This position of Service Center Operator reports to Service Centre manager at Yanbu.

Roles and Responsibility

• The Service Center Operator Perform hands on activities related to Heat Exchanger reconditioning including disassembly of units, plate cleaning, dye penetrant inspection, gluing of gaskets, assembly, and pressure testing of the units.
• Always ensure to wear full PPE demanded by the nature of the work.
• Report the technical findings on the different inspection along the job and establish reports.
• Report any issues to the Team Leader & take his concerns before proceeding
• Use proper tools, equipment, and procedures to perform the work.
• Follow the guidelines mentioned in the reconditioning / repair procedures.
• Ensure safety first culture attitude during working execution.
• Be responsible for day-to-day housekeeping.
• Ensure efficient maintenance and care of all company tools, spares and consumables used during work.
• Ensure cleanliness & safety of the workshop tools & personnel.
• Attend organized training courses as instructed, which will be a part of Personnel Development program.
• Able to go extra mile in fulfilling our customers requirements for on time execution of jobs & willing to work extended hours.

Candidate profile

• hands on Technician with Diploma/associate degree in mechanical Engineer /Industrial Engineering
