Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant major.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, computers, and customer service.
• Technical skills in diesel generators, preventive maintenance, and contamination control.
• Arabic desirable; English essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines/equipment malfunctions at field and workshop.
• Carry out routine Preventive Maintenance on all equipment in workshop and field.
• Note and report defects, damage or maintenance gaps on inspected equipment.
• Support installation and maintenance teams with technical guidance.
• Follow safety rules to protect self, others, and equipment.

Job Summary

• Troubleshooting machines/equipment malfunctions at field and workshop

Key Accountabilities

• Troubleshoot and carry out routine Preventive Maintenance service on all types of equipment, as outlined in the Manuf. Service Manual or other published information in the workshop & in the field.
• Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance on the equipment inspected in the field and the workshop.
• Performs troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, calibrations and replacement of equipment as necessary.
• Perform and provide technical support for installation and maintenance teams.
• Strictly follow safety rules and precautions to protect himself, the others and the equipment he works on.
• Establish a presentable image for both himself and the Company in front of Customers.
• Daily inspects equipment returned from rental to meet quality control standards for safe and efficient operation.
• Know about routine maintenance and repair procedures for all rental fleet units.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant major
• Knowledge: Diesel Engines - Computers knowledge - Customer and Personal Service
• Technical Skills: Diesel generators - Preventive maintenance - Contamination control
• Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of power generators Mechanical experience.
