Job summary

Ion Exchange India in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior, results-driven Project Sales professional to lead project sales and business development for our water treatment portfolio. You will drive revenue growth, secure key projects, and develop a robust KSA pipeline.

Responsibilities include developing solutions (RO, desalination, wastewater treatment), leading technical and commercial proposals, and negotiating contracts to maximize margins. Extensive travel across KSA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 12–15 years of proven experience in project sales/business development within water and wastewater treatment.
• Established network across EPCs, consultants, end users and key decision-makers in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of RO, desalination, wastewater treatment, filtration and water reuse.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, influencing and relationship-management skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to independently manage strategic opportunities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across KSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead project sales and business development across KSA for water and wastewater treatment solutions from opportunity to order.
• Build relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, end users, developers and project owners.
• Maintain a robust project pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to management.
• Develop fit-for-purpose engineering solutions in coordination with process and design engineers.
• Lead technical and commercial proposals and engage with client engineering teams to shape specifications.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions to maximize revenue and margins.
• Act as primary liaison between client and internal technical, execution and commercial teams for smooth handover of awarded projects.
