Job summary

CoorB in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead research and usability activities for complex digital banking journeys across retail and corporate segments. You will generate customer insights, validate designs, evaluate experiences, and support evidence-based decisions in both Arabic and English.

The role requires 6–10 years of UX research experience, strong mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, and the ability to mentor junior researchers while collaborating

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of UX research experience, including 3+ years in enterprise, financial services, or regulated products.
• Fluent Arabic and English with proven experience moderating research in both languages.
• Strong mixed-method research experience across qualitative and quantitative approaches.
• Proven experience conducting usability testing with objective measures and task-based protocols.
• Experience with research recruitment, consent, scheduling, incentives, and data handling under formal privacy controls.
• Strong skills in heuristics evaluation, accessibility evaluation, analytics, and behavioural-data interpretation.
• Experience establishing or maintaining research repositories.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• GCC/KSA banking, fintech, or regulated-sector experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UX design and WCAG 2.2 AA is a plus.
• Experience researching customers with different accessibility needs is an advantage.
• Experience with surveys, statistical analysis, or establishing research capabilities is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in HCI, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Factors, Design, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research aligned with business and design decisions.
• Define research questions, methods, participant profiles, and study objectives.
• Recruit, screen, and moderate research sessions in Arabic and English.
• Conduct moderated and unmoderated usability testing using task-based protocols.
• Evaluate existing journeys through analytics, complaints, and customer evidence.
• Conduct heuristic and accessibility evaluations, including keyboard and screen-reader testing.
• Analyse digital adoption, abandonment, task success, errors, satisfaction, and other behavioural metrics.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking across relevant banking and digital experiences.
• Develop customer segments, personas, and moments-of-truth insights where required.
• Translate research findings into clear, actionable design decisions within Agile sprint cycles.
• Maintain research documentation, evidence, repositories, and decision traceability.
• Apply appropriate privacy, consent, security, data-retention, and research-operation standards.
• Distinguish usability issues from design, content, accessibility, system, and software defects.
• Conduct re-testing and provide evidence for resolving high-severity findings.
• Present findings to design, business, technology, and compliance stakeholders.
• Mentor junior researchers and support knowledge transfer to client teams.
