• Recognized degree in Business, Analytics or Data Management related field (MBA preferred)

Responsibilities

• Transportation Operations Management: Overseeing and coordinating the transportation of goods, including scheduling, tracking shipments, and managing carrier relationships.
• Carrier Negotiations: Negotiating contracts and rates with carriers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Freight Cost Optimization: Analyzing transportation costs and identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, customs requirements, and trade laws.
• Client Support: Providing guidance and support to clients on transportation logistics, routing options, and regulatory considerations.
• Transportation Strategy: Developing and implementing strategic transportation plans to optimize service levels, minimize transit times, and reduce costs.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing transportation KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating transportation-related risks such as delays and disruptions.
• Technology Utilization: Leveraging transportation management systems and other tech solutions to streamline operations and visibility.
• Team Leadership: Providing mentorship and leadership to transportation teams.
