Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh is seeking a qualified Traffic Inspector to support traffic management across active road construction sites. You will inspect traffic diversion setups, verify TMP implementations, monitor live traffic, and coordinate with contractors and authorities to maintain safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field, with at least 10 years on-site traffic inspection experience, strong knowledge of traffic control

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on site experience in traffic inspection or diversions.
• Strong knowledge of traffic control devices, safety procedures, and diversion execution.
• Experience working with live traffic environments and fast-paced construction sites.
• Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Management Plans.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with Saudi traffic regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify traffic diversion setups on site per approved TMPs.
• Monitor live traffic conditions and recommend corrective actions for safety.
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of signage, barriers, delineators and lighting.
• Conduct site assessments to identify risks and provide safe movement solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers and authorities on diversions.
• Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Report non-conformities and follow up on rectifications.
• Prepare daily site inspection reports and maintain documentation.
