Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh is seeking a qualified Traffic Inspector to support traffic management across active road construction sites. You will inspect traffic diversion setups, verify TMP implementations, monitor live traffic, and coordinate with contractors and authorities to maintain safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field, with at least 10 years on-site traffic inspection experience, strong knowledge of traffic control

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on site experience in traffic inspection or diversions.
• Strong knowledge of traffic control devices, safety procedures, and diversion execution.
• Experience working with live traffic environments and fast-paced construction sites.
• Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Management Plans.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with Saudi traffic regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

The role involves inspecting traffic arrangements, ensuring proper implementation of approved traffic management plans, monitoring on site traffic flow, and coordinating with contractors and authorities to maintain safety and compliance.

Your role

• Conduct site assessments to identify risks and provide solutions for safe vehicle and pedestrian movement.
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and government authorities on diversion arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Report non‑conformities and follow up on rectifications.
• Prepare daily site inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
