Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) in Saudi Arabia to influence large enterprises and maximize value from AWS. You will lead technical cloud strategies, advocate for customers, and drive discussions with senior leadership on operational excellence, cloud maturity, and risk management.

You will partner with AWS teams, develop trusted customer relationships, and help customers evolve their workloads to the cloud with a focus on service reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
• With a bias for action, proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, detailed pre-launch planning.
• Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
