Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Engineer II, System Architect (Pre-sales) to support the TMC sales organization in achieving targets by guiding portfolio sales through technical and business insight.

The role involves collaborating with pursuit teams, presenting TMC solutions, and coordinating with portfolio and practice leaders to define Go-to-Market strategies while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering.
10–15 years industry experience, preferably in sales or engineering.
7–10 years turbomachinery experience in the petrochemical or power industries.
Basic knowledge of Schneider-Electric TMC & FS product lines (Triconex, Foxboro, Modicon, AVEVA).
Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

Maintains knowledge of assigned TMC products, solutions, industries, and accounts.
Knows client business drivers and how TMC solutions provide value.
Communicates with client stakeholders and relays TMC solutions value at all enterprise levels.
Has basic turbomachinery lingo and scope knowledge.
Understands machinery and safety markets.
Keeps abreast of engineering solutions for promotional materials and competitive analysis.
Collaborates with TMC business leader and regional stakeholders.
Supports Go to Market regional strategies with offer managers.
Performs process studies with clients to identify improvement opportunities.
Assists with TMC business planning with regional leaders and CoC team.
