Job summary

Deltame, a leading engineering firm, seeks experienced Structural Engineers specializing in Steel to join a major metro infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will tackle complex steel design, detailing, and coordination across disciplines.

The role requires proven experience on mega-scale projects (rail, metro, transportation) and the ability to deliver technical documentation, shop drawings, and robust connections.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in structural steel design and detailing (concept to detail drawings).
• Proven track record on mega-scale metro/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of steel systems, connections, detailing, and applicable codes.
• Experience coordinating with Architectural, MEP, Civil teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel design and analysis for complex infrastructure and building structures.
• Develop and review structural steel detailing and technical documentation.
• Work on steel frames, portal frames, roof structures, platforms, stairs, and escalator/lift support structures.
• Design and coordinate steel connections and interfaces with reinforced concrete structures.
• Review structural drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and other deliverables.
• Coordinate structural steel works with Architectural, MEP, Civil, and other disciplines.
• Support complex construction sequencing and structural coordination activities.
• Identify and resolve structural design and coordination issues.
• Ensure structural solutions comply with design codes and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality steel solutions on major infrastructure works.
