The role requires proven experience on mega-scale projects (rail, metro, transportation) and the ability to deliver technical documentation, shop drawings, and robust connections.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in structural steel design and detailing (concept to detail drawings).
• Proven track record on mega-scale metro/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of steel systems, connections, detailing, and applicable codes.
• Experience coordinating with Architectural, MEP, Civil teams.

Job Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Structural Engineers specializing in Steel to join a project team supporting a major metro infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on complex structural steel works and requires professionals with proven experience across large-scale infrastructure, transportation, railway, metro, commercial, industrial, or similarly complex projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structural steel design, analysis, detailing, coordination, and technical documentation. The role involves working with steel frames, portal frames, roof structures, platforms, stairs, escalator and lift support structures, steel connections, and structural interfaces with reinforced concrete systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in Structural Steel Design and Detailing.

• Experience with major metro, railway, transportation, infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects is highly preferred.
• Experience with complex steel structures, including frames, platforms, roof structures, stairs, and support structures.
• Experience coordinating structural steel with reinforced concrete, Architectural, MEP, Civil, and other disciplines.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review and prepare structural drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience beyond small-scale projects, PEB structures, or reinforced-concrete-only design is required.

Important Candidate Criteria: Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to PEB structures, small-scale structures, or RC-only projects will not be considered.
