Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Structural in Riyadh to supervise and inspect structural construction works for major developments. You will ensure adherence to approved drawings, specs, codes, and schedules while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 8+ years in structural engineering and construction supervision, with 5+ years in a field/inspection capacity, and strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of structural engineering and construction supervision experience.
• 5+ years as Structural Field Engineer, Structural Site Engineer, or Structural Inspector on major projects.
• Experience with large-scale buildings, convention centers, hotels, resorts, or hospitality developments.
• Experience in Site Supervision Consultancy, PMC, or Engineering Consultancy environments is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic skills are advantageous.
• Familiarity with ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, and relevant local regs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural construction activities to ensure compliance with designs and contract requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of foundations, reinforced concrete, steel structures, precast, and temporary works.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, and submissions for constructability and compliance.
• Verify adherence to QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, geotechnical teams to resolve interfaces.
