Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an Associate Director / Associate - Structural Engineering to lead the Jeddah office, coordinating structural design and delivery of major building projects. The role blends technical excellence with commercial acumen, client engagement, and business development to strengthen relationships and drive growth across the Kingdom.

You will mentor engineers, oversee BIM workflows, review calculations and drawings, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 18+ years of experience in structural engineering, delivering major building projects.
Strong client-facing experience and stakeholder management.
Proven business development, bid/winning new work, and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

Act as a key client contact, building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Support business development activities, including client meetings, proposals, and bid submissions.
Lead the structural delivery of complex building projects with quality and standards compliance.
Review and oversee structural calculations, reports, drawings, and technical submissions.
Coordinate structural resources in the Jeddah office for efficient delivery.
Mentor engineers and promote BIM workflows and best practices.
