Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Engineer, Steering & Brake Systems to lead technical work across vehicle launches, production ramp‑up, and series manufacturing. You will own steering gear, columns, tie rods, calipers, rotors, hoses, and brake controls while guiding cross‑functional teams.

Collaborating with Design Engineering, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers, you will ensure safety, durability, NVH targets, and manufacturing efficiency, drive root‑cause analysis, containment actions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• 5+ years in automotive engineering or vehicle integration.
• Experience with steering/brake systems and chassis interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews for steering and brake components.
• Support production issue resolution and containment actions.
• Coordinate engineering change releases and launch readiness reviews.
• Sustain engineering after initial product launch.
