Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Engineering Launch Manager to lead Plant Vehicle Engineering for multiple systems during vehicle launch and ramp‑up. This hands‑on leader will align Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers to deliver safe, high‑quality vehicles and rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of automotive engineering experience with leadership experience.
• Strong background in interiors, exteriors, seating, and vehicle integration.
• Experience leading launches, ramp-ups, manufacturing operations, and corrective-action processes.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Maintain ownership culture with clear priorities, accountability, and problem ownership.
• Lead Engineers across instrument panels, seating, interior components, and exterior trim.
• Serve as primary escalation point for launch, production, supplier quality, and quality issues.
• Own ICA/PCA execution from containment to verified corrective action and closure.
• Guide structured root cause analysis using 5 Why, fishbone, 8D, and FMEA.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and program teams to remove roadblocks.
