Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks an experienced Engineering Launch Manager to lead Plant Vehicle Engineering for interior, exterior, seating and restraints through vehicle launches and ramp-ups. This hands-on leader will drive cross-functional collaboration with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers to deliver safe, high-quality vehicles while resolving issues with speed and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years automotive engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong technically grounded in vehicle systems and launch engineering.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Plant Vehicle Engineering for interior, exterior, seating, and restraints during launches and ramp-ups.
• Build and coach a high-performing team; drive accountability and escalation management.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers to remove roadblocks.
• Own ICA/PCA execution from containment to verified corrective actions and closure.
• Perform structured root cause analysis (5 Why, fishbone, 8D, FMEA) with data-driven validation.
