Job summary

Al Rugaib Holding Company seeks an experienced Senior Site Engineer (Civil / Architectural) to lead day-to-day site execution of civil, structural and finishing works on fast-track projects. You will manage subcontractors, monitor safety, quality and progress, and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, coordination with MEP, and leadership to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 8–10 years of site experience in building construction.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Proven experience in structural works (cast-in-situ and precast), masonry and finishing works for commercial, residential or hospitality projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
• Experience in managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating site interfaces with MEP works.
• Good knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), quality and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and progress reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and control daily site activities for civil, structural and finishing works.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and the project schedule.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, allocate work areas and monitor their productivity and manpower.
• Prepare and review look-ahead programs, daily and weekly progress reports and site records.
• Coordinate with the consultant, MEP engineers and other disciplines to resolve interfaces and site issues.
• Raise inspection requests (IRs/WIRs) and attend inspections with QA/QC and the consultant.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and RFIs related to civil and architectural works.
• Verify subcontractor quantities and support the QS team in preparing interim payment applications.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior site engineers and supervisors.
