Job summary

CLEAR Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced Site Architectural Engineer to oversee architectural works on construction projects in Riyadh. You will ensure activities align with drawings, specs, and schedules while coordinating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, conducting site inspections, managing QA/QC, and preparing inspection requests and progress reports to support project handover and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• 7–10 years of site supervision experience on complex construction projects.
• Experience across commercial, residential, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, finishes, and material specs.
• Familiarity with local and international codes; professional registration preferred.

The successful candidate will ensure that all architectural activities are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while coordinating effectively with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all architectural site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate architectural activities with structural, MEP, and other project disciplines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify construction issues and provide technical solutions to maintain project progress.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
• Prepare inspection requests (IRs), snag lists, punch lists, and monitor close‑out activities.
• Review completed works before consultant/client inspections.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical reports and progress updates.
• Verify quantities and assist in evaluating variations and change orders when required.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities, inspections, approvals, and correspondence.
• Support project handover by ensuring completion of all architectural works and required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in site supervision of architectural works.
• Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure, or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural finishes, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
• Professional engineering registration or relevant accreditation is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to review architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and site inspection processes.
• Experience with project management software is an advantage.
