Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Riyadh is seeking a Rolling Stock Engineer - Rail Systems with deep expertise in design review, technical assurance, and system integration for a major automated railway program.

The role covers RAMS performance, testing, acceptance, and interface management across carbody, bogies, propulsion, HVAC, doors, and onboard systems, with close collaboration with signalling and depot facilities to ensure safety and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of mechanical engineering experience in rolling stock.
• Experience reviewing rolling stock supplier designs and assessing compliance.
• Strong RAMS knowledge and railway standards familiarity.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review rolling stock system and subsystem designs submitted by the Design Build contractor.
• Verify compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and client performance criteria.
• Develop and review interface specifications supporting rolling stock supplier design and system integration.
• Coordinate rolling stock interfaces with signalling, platform screen doors, telecommunications, traction power, stations, depots, and civil infrastructure.
• Monitor design development and identify issues that could affect safety, quality, schedule, cost, or system acceptance.
• Support testing, commissioning, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.
