Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Road Engineer in Riyadh to lead road supervision, review designs, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities. You will resolve complex technical challenges and ensure adherence to project specs, while monitoring asphalt and crushing plants and field labs.

The role requires 12–15 years in major road projects, with strong leadership and communication skills and a Civil Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12–15 years’ experience in major road/highway projects.
• Expertise in road design standards, pavement engineering, and materials testing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise road construction and pavement works.
• Review and approve design documents, shop drawings and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor performance of asphalt plants, crushing plants and field testing labs.
• Ensure timely execution of works according to schedule and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and provide engineering recommendations.
