Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Road Project Manager to oversee end‑to‑end execution of road and highway construction projects in Saudi Arabia. You will lead planning, execution, and control, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and government authorities to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

This role requires 12–15 years of experience in major road projects, strong leadership, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project. A Civil Engineering degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience in managing major road/highway infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and specifications.
• Proven experience with stakeholder and client management.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and control of road construction works.
• Prepare project execution plans (PEP), timelines, work programs, and resource plans.
• Manage daily construction activities including earthworks, pavement, drainage, utilities, and traffic diversions.
• Coordinate with consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors on technical and permitting matters.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor project budget, cost performance, and cash flows.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and approve work methods.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Lead progress meetings, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and address critical delays.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure QA/QC and HSE plans across the project.
