Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Saudi Arabia to lead road and infrastructure projects. You will oversee design reviews, earthworks, drainage, utilities coordination, and traffic management while ensuring compliance with local standards and client requirements.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a solid knowledge of Civil 3D, MX Road, and OpenRoads. Collaboration with consultants, contractors and authorities is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.
• 15+ years of experience in road construction supervision and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of KSA road standards, specifications, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on roads, highways and infrastructure works in KSA.
• Review road geometry, pavement designs, drainage, utilities coordination, and traffic management plans.
• Collaborate with design consultants, contractors and construction teams to review drawings and methods.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Supervise earthworks, asphalt, concrete works, culverts and road furniture.
• Review and approve method statements, submittals, shop drawings, and traffic plans.
• Identify risks and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors, authorities and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and report progress and risks.
