Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Road Engineer to lead supervision of road and highway projects in Saudi Arabia. You will review designs, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and ensure quality and schedule adherence on major infrastructure works.

The role requires 12–15 years of experience, expertise in pavement engineering and materials testing, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage multi‑discipline teams on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering.
• 12–15 years’ experience in major road/highway projects.
• Expertise in road design standards, pavement engineering, and materials testing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise road construction and pavement works.
• Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor performance of asphalt plants, crushing plants, and field testing labs.
• Ensure timely execution of works according to schedule and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and provide engineering recommendations.
