Job summary
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Road Engineer in Saudi Arabia to lead road supervision and ensure compliance on major highway projects. You will supervise construction, review designs, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to resolve technical challenges and maintain schedule integrity.
The role requires 12–15 years of experience in road projects, strong leadership, and expertise in pavement engineering and materials testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering.
- 12–15 years’ experience in major road/highway projects.
- Expertise in road design standards, pavement engineering, and materials testing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise road construction and pavement works.
- Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor performance of asphalt plants, crushing plants, and field testing labs.
- Ensure timely execution of works according to schedule and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and provide engineering recommendations.
