Job summary

KBR in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is searching for a Senior Risk Manager to lead portfolio-wide risk management, governance, and assurance across a major infrastructure development. You will report to the Project Controls Director and guide PMCs on risk practices, ensuring consistent application and reporting across programmes.

The role requires 15+ years post-graduation experience, a relevant degree, and PMI/RIMS certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of post-graduation experience.
• PMI-Risk Management Professional, RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional, or equivalent certification.
• Sound knowledge of risks aspects for major civil, infrastructure, and development projects.
• Experience in managing a team of subordinate Risk Managers.
• Experienced user of MS Office and understanding of project management software for risk reporting.
• Fluency in English language both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer the approved Risk Management Plan (RMP).
• Review and supervise Risk Management Plans and risk registers of PMCs.
• Support the implementation and effective use of risk management systems.
• Provide guidance and training to PMCs for risk practices.
• Facilitate Risk meetings and develop Risk Registers for programmes.
• Consolidate PMC risk registers into programme-level registers for escalation.
• Maintain updated Dashboards for risks and issues across the portfolio.
• Monthly risk management quality assurance reviews and status updates.
• Quantitative risk analysis (QRA) of programme-wide risks.
• Develop contingency assessments at programme and portfolio levels.
