Job summary

Bechtel in Riyadh is seeking a Risk Lead / Risk Engineer to manage the project-level risk and issue lifecycle for the Expo 2030 Riyadh infrastructure program. You will run regular risk reviews, maintain risk registers in ARM, and develop QSRA models to support decision-making.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10–15 years of experience in engineering or project risk management, plus hands-on experience with Safran Risk and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or project risk management.
• Experience leading qualitative risk reviews and cross-functional workshops.
• Experience building and running QSRA models in Safran Risk.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000 and risk management practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate project risk and opportunity reviews and issue review sessions with stakeholders.
• Maintain completeness and quality of risk and issue registers in ARM with clear ownership and due dates.
• Challenge risk and action owners on adequacy and effectiveness of actions.
• Monitor overdue actions and escalate barriers to completion.
• Develop and maintain QSRA models for projects and programmes; ensure schedule inputs are suitable for probabilistic analysis.
• Provide timely risk reporting inputs to Risk Analyst for client reporting.
