Job summary

Egis Group in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead infrastructure project management on-site from planning through completion. You will serve as the primary technical authority, overseeing all aspects of infrastructure development while coordinating with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years in PMCM, strong knowledge of construction practices, and proficiency with project management tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure or construction PMCM.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure development and construction practices.
• Proficiency with project management software; AutoCAD preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
• Experience with budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and regulatory requirements preferred.
• PM/PRINCE2/PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to work on-site and manage on-site teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions.
• Manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones while coordinating with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets and costs, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial objectives.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies prior to implementation.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize delays.
• Maintain organized project records, including daily logs, test reports, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate effectively with project management, clients, and regulatory authorities regarding project status and performance.
• Ensure adherence to local Saudi Arabian regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction phase.
