Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide oversight, coordination, and construction supervision for electrical works across AlUla infrastructure and development projects. You will ensure works comply with designs, standards, and Saudi regulations, and support testing, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in major infrastructure and development projects.
• Strong experience with electrical infrastructure including HV/MV/LV distribution, substations, transformers, street lighting and external networks.
• Experience in PMC/PMCM, engineering consultancy or construction supervision environments.
• Saudi Arabia and/or GCC experience is highly desirable and preferred.
• Good knowledge of SEC requirements, Saudi Building Code and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BS).

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical oversight of electrical works during construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Sanity check drawings, specifications, method statements, material submissions and shop drawings for compliance.
• Monitor installation of electrical infrastructure including HV/MV/LV networks, substations and switchgear.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, utilities, architecture, mechanical, ICT and other disciplines.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with IFC drawings and approved standards.
• Coordinate interfaces with SEC and other relevant authorities as required.
• Support approvals from authorities and the Project Manager/Resident Engineer for construction.
• Monitor progress vs. programme and identify electrical activities affecting milestones.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover activities and ensure documentation is complete.
