Job summary

Egis in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead infrastructure project management on-site. You will act as the technical authority, directing planning, execution, and coordination with clients and regulators to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in PM/CM for infrastructure, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with project software; familiarity with AutoCAD and Saudi codes is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure or construction PM/CM
• PMCM methodologies knowledge
• Knowledge of infrastructure development and construction practices
• Proficiency with project management software; AutoCAD preferred
• Ability to analyze complex project data and develop solutions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Experience with budget management, cost control, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes in construction
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes, regulations and compliance
• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred
• Site-based work environment and on-site team management
• Strong problem-solving and decisive decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions
• Manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones while coordinating with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
• Monitor project budgets and costs, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial objectives
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies prior to implementation
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize delays
• Maintain organized project records, including daily logs, test reports, and compliance documentation
• Communicate effectively with project management, clients, and regulatory authorities regarding project status and performance
• Ensure adherence to local Saudi Arabian regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction phase
