Egis in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead infrastructure project management on-site. You will act as the technical authority, directing planning, execution, and coordination with clients and regulators to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction activities and site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions
  • Manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones while coordinating with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Monitor project budgets and costs, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial objectives
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies prior to implementation
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize delays
  • Maintain organized project records, including daily logs, test reports, and compliance documentation
  • Communicate effectively with project management, clients, and regulatory authorities regarding project status and performance
  • Ensure adherence to local Saudi Arabian regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
  • Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction phase

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to join our infrastructure project management and construction management team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this on-site role, you will serve as the primary technical authority and project representative, overseeing all aspects of infrastructure development from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to make decisive decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred
