Job summary

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to oversee site activities on road, railway, and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with project specifications, coordinating with clients and contractors, and leading site supervision teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of construction methods, and a track record with engineering consultancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in road and railway projects.
• Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms is required.
• Strong experience in site supervision and construction management.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and quality standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is required.
• Saudi/GCC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction activities for road, railway, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the client, contractor, and consultants to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project standards.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Lead site inspections and ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures.
• Prepare and review progress reports and provide technical recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate site supervision teams.
• Identify potential project risks and support timely resolution of issues.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and relevant engineering standards.
