Job summary

Almarai, headquartered in Riyadh, seeks a Regulatory Affairs professional to support ingredient evaluations, regulatory reviews, and product formulation reviews. You will assess new/ draft regulations against Almarai products and communicate regulatory changes to relevant teams.

A 2–3 year background in the food industry and a Bachelor’s in food science, nutrition, or related field are required. Based in Riyadh, the role involves food registrations with SFDA and Dubai Municipality, plus

Responsibilities

• Support of Ingredient & Claim Evaluation approval system.
• Work on regulatory review of allocated business units.
• Responsible for review of Regulatory Affairs processes and procedures.
• Create Gap assessment for any new / draft food regulation against Almarai products.
• Notify changes to key Food Regulations, standards & Circulars.
• Provide support to TRD, Nutrition & Marketing for regulatory review of product formulations and claims.
• Responsible for Food registration within the SFDA / Dubai Municipality.
• Responsible for specific research project work as determined.
