Job summary

Sener en Ingeniería is seeking a Senior Manager – Construction Methodology to lead development of construction strategies for large-scale rail projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires 20+ years in infrastructure with at least 10 years on rail, and leadership of methodology teams across multi-disciplinary project stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience in major infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on rail projects.
• Proven experience developing and reviewing construction methodologies for complex railway projects.
• Strong experience in sequencing, staging, temporary works planning, logistics management, and constructability assessments.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Knowledge of railway construction practices, project controls, risk management, and planning principles.
• Experience participating in tender reviews, contractor evaluations, value engineering initiatives, and technical governance activities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and review of construction methodologies for major railway projects during feasibility, design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Establish construction sequencing, staging, phasing, and execution strategies that support efficient project delivery while minimizing operational and stakeholder impacts.
• Provide technical leadership on constructability reviews and ensure construction considerations are integrated into design development activities.
• Oversee the preparation and review of method statements, construction plans, temporary works concepts, logistics plans, and site execution strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, systems, operations, and construction teams to ensure alignment between design intent and construction methodology requirements.
• Identify construction risks, interface challenges, and implementation constraints while developing practical and innovative mitigation measures.
• Support tender evaluations, contractor engagements, value engineering exercises, and technical reviews related to construction methodology and delivery approaches.
• Mentor and lead construction methodology teams while promoting best practices, innovation, safety, and continuous improvement across projects.
