Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects in Riyadh. You will measure completed works, verify interim payments, and manage variations, rates and BOQs to protect project value.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics, 10+ years of experience, and strong Excel plus cost-management software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics.
• Minimum 10 years of quantity-surveying experience.
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, measurement standards, interim payments, variations, and rate analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and recognised quantity-surveying or cost-management software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure completed works and verify contractor interim payment applications
• Review Bills of Quantities variations quotations and rate build-ups
• Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate quantity records
• Prepare cost estimates commercial comparisons and budget updates
• Maintain payment variation procurement and cost-tracking registers
• Support claims assessment cash-flow forecasting and final-account preparation
• Coordinate measurements and commercial information with discipline engineers
