Job summary

Saudi Services For Electro Mechanical Works Co. SSEM seeks a qualified professional to prepare BoQ, cost estimates and tender pricing for OHTL, Substation and UG cable projects.

You will measure and value works for IPCs and final accounts while reviewing variation orders and negotiating subcontractor quotes. Collaborating with the Contracts & Claims team, you will monitor budgets, support EOT claims, ensure FIDIC compliance, and maintain cost reports for management.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing BoQ, cost estimates and tender pricing for large projects.
• Ability to measure and value work for IPCs and final accounts.
• Capable of reviewing variation orders and assessing cost/time impact.
• Skilled in benchmarking subcontractor and supplier quotes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BoQ, cost estimates, and tender pricing for OHTL/Substation/UG cable projects.
• Measure and value completed works for IPCs and final accounts.
• Review and evaluate VOs; assess cost/time impact.
• Conduct subcontractor and supplier quotation comparisons and negotiate rates.
• Monitor project budgets vs. actual costs; flag overruns early.
• Support claims preparation (EOT, disruption, delay) with Contracts & Claims team.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC conditions of contract where applicable.
• Maintain cost reports and cash flow forecasts for management reporting.
• Liaise with client's QS/cost consultants for measurement and valuation agreement.
• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications for pricing accuracy.
