Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a skilled QS - Electrical Engineer to join our Construction team in Riyadh. You will provide detailed cost estimates, manage electrical quantities, review drawings, monitor budgets, and ensure SBC and ARAMCO standards compliance across major projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years of quantity surveying for electrical systems in construction.
Proficient in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant electrical standards.
Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems including materials, labor, and equipment.
Review drawings, specs, and contracts to determine quantities and scope.
Monitor project budgets and identify variances with corrective actions.
Coordinate with procurement for cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Conduct site inspections to verify quantities and compliance with specs.
Prepare progress reports and cost forecasts for stakeholders.
Ensure SBC, ARAMCO standards compliance for electrical systems.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve cost/technical issues.
Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for fair pricing.
