Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a Lead Cost Control Engineer in Saudi Arabia to manage project expenditures across the construction lifecycle. The role focuses on cost estimation, tracking, reporting, and proactive actions to keep financial targets on track.

The incumbent will develop procedures, oversee budgets, analyze variances, and drive value engineering while coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years cost control or equivalent experience in large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience with SAP ERP and cost-control tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control procedures to monitor expenditures.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish budgets and forecasts.
• Perform detailed cost estimation for components, materials, labor and overhead.
• Track costs, analyze variances, and report financial metrics to stakeholders.
• Review invoices and change orders for contract compliance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering.
• Support HSE initiatives and IMS policy adherence.
• Provide guidance on cost-related decisions to project teams.
• Monitor market trends and adjust cost strategies accordingly.
