Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Quality Manager for a large Transportation Project Delivery initiative. The role leads QA/QC across the project lifecycle, ensuring IMS compliance, and coordinating with the PMCM team, contractors, and authorities to deliver safe, quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred, and strong consultancy, leadership, and governance capabilities in the Middle East region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Professional membership with engineering institutions preferred.
• 15+ years of experience, with 10+ in quality management on buildings/ transportation projects.
• Proven site-based quality operations management on large-scale road/transport projects.

Responsibilities

• Head the QA/QC function across the project lifecycle (design, construction, testing, commissioning).
• Lead IMS implementation and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage construction supervision teams and coordinate with PMCM and stakeholders.
• Oversee QA/QC activities, ITPs, method statements, and test plans.
• Monitor material approvals, lab testing, audits, and non-conformance/root cause actions.
• Report KPIs, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
