Job summary

Haskoning invites a Senior Project Manager (MCF/Data Centres) to lead complex data centre projects from feasibility through delivery in Riyadh and across the region, acting as the client’s main interface and delivering high‑quality outcomes.

Based in Riyadh, you will coordinate multidisciplinary design and engineering teams, guide project controls and commercial delivery, contribute to proposals and contract negotiations, and help position Haskoning as a trusted advisor in KSA and the wider

Vacancy Intro

You will join one of the world's leading data centre design and engineering teams as a project manager. You will work on complex, mission‑critical projects in Riyadh and across the wider region. This role brings together senior project leadership and real commercial influence. You handle client relationships, proposals, contract negotiations, and delivery. This role offers a strong opportunity for an experienced Project Manager. It suits someone who wants to shape Haskoning's growing MCF presence in KSA.

What you will do as Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres)

As a Senior Project Manager in our Mission Critical Facilities Data Centres team in Riyadh, you will lead complex, large data centre projects. You will manage them from early feasibility and concept design through detailed design, procurement, construction support and final delivery. You act as the client's main point of contact. You manage multidisciplinary design and engineering teams and the project's commercial performance. You also build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure the overall quality of the project.

In this senior role, you will also play an important part in developing our regional data centre business. You contribute to proposals and support contract negotiations. You also identify opportunities with existing and new clients. In addition, you help position Haskoning as a trusted advisor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region.

• Leading and managing complex data centre projects across the full project life cycle, from initiation to completion;
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to deliver integrated, high quality project outcomes;
• Managing project controls, including planning, cost control, risk management, contract management, reporting and change control;
• Acting as the main interface for clients, partners, authorities and senior stakeholders;
• Preparing and contributing to commercial proposals, tenders, fee estimates and project execution strategies;
• Supporting contract negotiations and ensuring clear scope, deliverables, risks and responsibilities;
• Identifying project risks and opportunities, and proactively steering projects to achieve optimal value for clients and Haskoning.

As our new Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres), you will become part of our global Mission Critical Facilities team. Our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacentre clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.

You will be based in our Riyadh office and work closely with colleagues and clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and across our international data centre network.

What you bring

You are an entrepreneurial, commercially aware and results‑driven project leader. You build trusted relationships with senior clients. You lead multidisciplinary teams through complex technical, contractual and commercial challenges in international environments.

Besides that, you have:

• technical university degree in architecture, civil, mechanical or electrical engineering;
• 15+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering and construction projects;
• Proven experience with large scale technical or mission critical projects, data centres experience is a strong preference;
• Strong expertise in project controls, contracts, risk, stakeholders and commercial delivery;
• Experience with proposals, tenders, client presentations and contract negotiations, preferably in design, engineering or consultancy;
• KSA or Middle East experience required, excellent English required, Arabic a strong advantage, plus affinity with BIM360, CDE or similar platforms.
