Job summary

Elm in Riyadh is seeking a Principal to lead privacy and data governance initiatives within the Legal, Risk & Govern Division. The role focuses on developing and implementing governance frameworks, privacy requirements, and data management controls across the organization.

You will provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders on complex privacy risks, lead DPIA/PIA assessments, and support regulatory compliance, governance maturity, and data lifecycle management across metadata, data catalog,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Law, IS, CS, Data Management) required; master's preferred.
• Professional certifications in Privacy, Data Governance, or Data Management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance privacy and data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess complex governance requirements and recommend appropriate controls and implementations.
• Support regulatory compliance, governance maturity, and data lifecycle management.
• Provide expert guidance to business and technology stakeholders on privacy risks and mitigations.
• Monitor KPIs and maturity measures, recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with data owners and tech stakeholders to implement governance across metadata, catalog, and data quality.
