Job summary

ExeQut AI Consulting seeks a Personal Data Protection Officer to lead the Saudi PDPL program and align the organization with national data governance standards. You will manage RoPA, data inventories, and cross-functional privacy initiatives while coordinating with IT, compliance, legal, and business units.

The role requires strong Arabic/English policy drafting, with experience in PDPL compliance, data protection controls, and governance reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law/Sharia with law track or related field within information governance
• 7+ years of experience in PDPL/compliance, risk management, or internal audit
• Strong knowledge of Saudi PDPL, implementing regulations, and SDAIA/SAMA controls
• Bilingual drafting ability in Arabic and English; interaction with regulators and governance committees

Responsibilities

• Lead the personal data protection program and ensure PDPL compliance across the organization
• Maintain RoPA and data inventories including internal and external data flows
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, data subject rights handling, retention and breach management
• Coordinate with IT, Security, Compliance, Legal, and Business units to embed PDPL into systems and projects
• Prepare regular reports to senior management on compliance status, risks, and remediation plans
