Job summary

Salam in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Presales Consultant to lead the design and development of comprehensive customer solutions, ensuring alignment with delivery capabilities, compliance standards, and profitability targets.

You will own complex solution designs, translate objectives into practical, executable, and cost‑effective solutions, maintain technical ownership through all presales stages, and mentor junior Presales Consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunication or Business Administration or relevant field.
• Good understanding of telecommunication technology.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex solution design activities addressing customer needs.
• Translate objectives into practical, executable, cost‑effective solutions.
• Ensure proposals align with delivery capabilities, compliance requirements, and strategic portfolio direction.
• Maintain technical ownership of key proposals through presales stages.
• Act as main contact for strategic customers during presales.
• Conduct workshops and presentations to demonstrate value and differentiation.
• Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Support Sales in achieving revenue and margin targets through profitable solution development.
• Articulate ROI of proposed solutions to accelerate deal closure.
• Collaborate with Sales and Bid Management to develop integrated proposals.
• Develop high-quality proposals and presentations addressing customer needs and evaluation criteria.
• Review and validate deliverables from Presales Consultants for quality and compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior Presales Consultants.
• Share knowledge through internal sessions and process improvements.
• Develop reusable tools, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Provide product feedback based on customer needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Product, Finance and Operations to ensure solution success.
• Participate in governance and bid review committees for risk mitigation.
• Represent Presales in cross-functional initiatives to improve solution quality.
