Job summary
Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr Automation Engineer, Powertrain to own PLC architecture, SCADA, historian, MES integration and OT cybersecurity for a greenfield AMP-2 facility. You will drive Industry 4.0 deployment from first commissioning through June 2027 SOP, ensuring uptime, data integrity and cross-functional transfer of ownership to local workforce.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 5-8 years in PLC-based industrial automation; 3+ years in greenfield launch environments.
- Fluent in English; Arabic strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with MES integration, and safety PLC deployment.
Responsibilities
- Define and enforce PLC architecture and coding standards across Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
- Own safety PLC deployment and functional safety compliance.
- Lead FAT / SAT for all automated Powertrain equipment.
- Drive IIoT deployment: machine connectivity, digital dashboards, predictive analytics, and OEE monitoring.
