Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar is seeking a PMV - Maintenance Foreman to lead the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles essential to our construction projects. You will mentor technicians and coordinate with procurement to ensure parts availability.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and uptime, with responsibility for preventive maintenance, detailed record-keeping, and KPI reporting across Saudi Arabia's mega projects aligned with Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in heavy equipment/vehicle maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software; familiarity with OSHA and ISO 45001.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repair operations for a fleet of heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with procurement to secure spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards (OSHA and ISO 45001).
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to align maintenance with project timelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SBC and other regulations; report maintenance KPIs; support digital maintenance tools.
