BEC Arabia in Khobar is seeking a PMV - Mechanic Assistant to join the Logistics Department. You will assist in the maintenance and repair of the PMV fleet, working alongside senior mechanics and technicians to ensure equipment readiness for our heavy construction and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or heavy equipment industry.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the maintenance of heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy construction equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
• Perform routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Support the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Conduct basic repairs and adjustments under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and work completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance and repair activities.
