Job summary

Parsons seeks a seasoned Planning & Scheduling Specialist (Saudi National) to lead project planning, scheduling, and controls on small to medium projects in Saudi Arabia. You will develop, maintain, and verify schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Office tools, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and client expectations.

You will review contractor progress, provide forecast and risk analyses, and mentor staff in schedule development and reporting methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
Hands-on expertise in Primavera P6, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office; Power BI is advantageous.
Experience in planning and monitoring construction activities, including progress measurement and forecasting.
Experience analyzing contractor delay claims and providing client recommendations.
Ability to independently develop, review, and present schedule deliverables with minimal supervision.
Understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and startup processes.

Responsibilities

Perform planning and scheduling for site and office-based activities.
Develop and maintain baseline and updated schedules using Primavera P6 and Excel.
Verify contractor progress aligns with approved schedules and records.
Prepare progress reports and schedule status summaries for the client.
Track contractor site progress and report deviations from the baseline.
Analyze contractor delay claims and provide technical recommendations.
