Job summary

SD (Middle East) LLC in KSA is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead complex project schedules, manage critical path analyses, and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning teams on large-scale projects.

You will prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves and look-ahead plans, identify risks and delays, support EOT work, and mentor junior planners to ensure consistency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, construction engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in planning and project controls on large-scale infrastructure/EPC projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 and Excel; knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
• Strong baseline scheduling, resource planning and delay analysis experience.
• Experience in management reporting, dashboards, and project presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with Primavera P6 (WBS, milestones, baselines, critical path).
• Coordinate schedules with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning.
• Monitor progress and update schedules weekly and monthly; prepare progress reports and look‑ahead plans.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigation, support EOT and delay analysis requirements.
• Review subcontractor schedules and mentor planning engineers for quality and consistency.
