Job summary

Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer - piping for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project based in Saudi Arabia, Alkhafji. You will provide technical leadership on piping design, quality reviews, and interface with EPC contractors.

The role requires strong familiarity with codes (ASME B31.3, API) and experience in brownfield FEED/EPC environments. Saudi Aramco standards knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assurance on piping system design, layout, and material selection.
Review EPC contractor piping deliverables for codes compliance (ASME B31.3, API).
Evaluate routing, flexibility, and support arrangements.
Verify consistency between 3D models, drawings, and field conditions.
Review vendor documentation for piping components and valves.
Support constructability and layout reviews for safe designs.
Participate in inspection, hydrotesting, and commissioning activities.

Job description
